First Baptist Church Yucaipa has been engaged in a number of
programs and outreaches. The largest ongoing ministry is that of Yucaipa Christian Schools. This includes both a preschool and a K-6 school. Both the preschool and the elementary school are accredited and have been running successfully under the direction of Principal Jim Cochran. The school has recently started an after school tutoring program that has drawn the attention and cooperation of the local school district as well as hosting a school district literacy program for adults.
